About

Hi there! I'm Amanda. PhD-educated CRNA and Plant-Based Foodie who is Passionate About Health

I live for a good smoothie, think black scrubs are chic, and wish hospital shifts started at 0800.
I have done the research for you...

ONCE UPON A TIME

I had my dream job, the opportunity to travel, an active social life, and served on every volunteer committee imaginable. I was at the top of my game but constantly exhausted ...

When I reflect on my 20/30's I can see how being overly accessible and saying YES to everything, was leading me closer and closer to a breakdown. Through taking a long pause and a TON of research, I was able to regain passion bringing balance and joy, back into my life. I explored different educational paths, read every book and article I could find, and honed in on experts I could trust. I found small, actionable tips that helped me shift from a mindset of powering through to one of resiliency. The adage, "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" ... brought on new meaning.

MY REALLY OFFICIAL BIO, the TL:DR VERSION

Amanda is a wife, mother, CRNA, and the founder of AWH. She was one of the first CRNAs in the country to get two doctorates. She hopes to be known for bringing balance and joy into the lives of her patients, colleagues, and friends.
